Peewee Reps Participate In West Gray Tournament
Last weekend the team jumped on a bus and travelled to Ayton to partake in the one day tourney.
After a slow drive there, the team matched up against Goderich in the first game of the day. The boys came ready to play by dominating all three periods and all 3 zones, allowing them to come away with a convincing 4-0 win.
After a nice lunch, provided by parents, the team was set to face-off versus Hanover. With a slow start to the game and after a few penalty calls aginst them, they found themselves trailing 2-0 early. For much of the game, the team had a hard time getting things going. Late in the game, with the goalie out, the boys were able to get one past the Hanover goalie, but it was to little to late. The falcons sent them home winning 2-1.
It was a fun day had by all involved. Thank you everyone for the memorable day.
The team now plays tonight (Thursday) at home vs St. George. Puck drop is set for 8pm, and then travels to Langton on Saturday to take on the Leafs. Puck drop 1:30pm
