PeeWee Reps Make Finals
This past weekend your PeeWee Reps competed in the 60th Annual Mitchell PeeWee Rep Tournament.
Fridays games saw the team match-up vs Central Perth and Zurich. In the first game Norwich came out flat and fell behind 2-1 in the 1st period. We battled back and found the net 4 more times before the final buzzer sounded, making the final score 5-2 Knighthawks. In the second game the team dominated from start to finish and found themselves with a solid 5-0 win.
On Saturday the team faced off against Ilderton in the first match-up of the day. Ilderton had already played a game earlier in the morning but was ready from the 1st to the 3rd, and found themselves taking the game and winning 3-0. For Norwich's second game of the day they faced Mitchell. The team needed to get 5 points to move on to the finals, where they hoped for a second chance to play Ilderton. By scoring goals in all 3 periods, and winning the game 4-0 Norwich clinched a berth in the finals on Sunday.
Sunday brought a re-match with the Jets from Ilderton. The team had a hard time finding a way to gets things going. Stellar goal-tending from Idlerton kept Norwich off the board. Trailing in the game, and with not much happening for Norwich, they found themselves on the losing end. Final score 4-0 Jets.
I just want to say it was a fantastic weekend for the team and congrats to all players!

The team now travels to Caledonia to take on The Thunder Wednesday night. Puck drop 8:15pm. And then return home to play The Stars from Twin Centres the following night. Puck drop 8pm.
