Peewee Reps Take Down Wolfpack
Our Norwich Knighthawks travelled to Paris last week for a match up vs. The Wolfpack.
The two teams were closely matched making goal scoring chances hard to come by. With the game tied at zero heading into the third period, everyone was beginning to wonder if anybody was gunna score on this night.
With the hard work of the Knighthawk forwards and the strong play of the defense, Norwich was able to put one on the board with a goal by Blake Vanvliet assisted by Carson Dyment. It looked like the one goal was going to hold up to be the winner but Paris thought other wise and potted a goal of their own late in the period. Once again it was the Knighthawks who wanted it more. With just two minutes left Norwich was able to capitalize on a power play goal scored by Brandon Moodie assisted by Hannah Buckrell and lift the team to victory. Ben Serrador was stellar in net to get the win.
The team now travels to Ingersoll on Thursday night to take on the Express. Puck drop 8:15. They then return home on Saturday for an matinee matchup vs Six Nations. Puck drop 4pm.
