This past weekend the Norwich Tyke team participated in a tournament in Langton.

It was their first tournament of the season and they did a great job. Although they fell to Langton and Hagersville in the first two games the kids played their best and gave a fighting chance. In their third game they played against Aylmer. The two teams were equally matched, but we ended up losing 4-1. The kids played an excellent game and everyone was very proud of their effort they put into the game.

On Sunday the team ended up playing against Aylmer in the consolation championship. The players were out to win. Each and every player on the team played with determination to bring home the win. Mason Ellis was goalie and did a fantastic job to help us land a 2-0 win to bring home a bronze medal!!! Tanner Masters and Nolan Learn scored the goals for the team with help from all of their team mates. The smiles and positive comments from the team after the game was an inspiring feeling for all to see. This was their first win all season and we hope that this will only bring more positive energy from the players and we will continue to see more games won!
