Norwich Minor Hockey Association is working hard to get our players and coaches back on the ice safely. We are working with the Township of Norwich, under the guidance of the Ontario Hockey Federation Return to Hockey Framework, Ontario Minor Hockey Association, and Southwestern Public Health. Hockey will be different this season, but we look forward to getting everyone out playing safely.
-We anticipate hockey to start on September 22nd
-there will be no rep or AE teams in the 2020-2021 season
-teams will be smaller this year for safety
-we are planning on two hours of ice time per week for teams
-there is no body contact
Payments are now being collected
-We will be dividing the registration costs into 4 instalments. If you are paying by cheque then the cheques should be dated for September 12th 2020, October 31st 2020, December 19th 2020, and February 6th 2021 (IP program is $320, Novice $600, Atom-Midget $650, goalie $250, third or more child is 1/2 their registration cost). So figure out the entire registration cost you owe and divide the cost into the 4 payments. If you were applying your $50 - 50/50 raffle refund from last season then subtract that from your entire family cost before dividing it into your 4 instalments. There also needs to be a volunteer bond cheque of $200 received by September 12th. We will collect all cheques including the post-dated ones, but cheques will only be cashed once we meet their due date. Payments can be mailed to:
NMHA
P.O. Box 467
Norwich, ON

or payment can be dropped off, just email [email protected] to set up a day/time.
Cash or etransfer can also be accepted if needed. Etransfers to [email protected] with password of hockey. If you are choosing to do an etransfer then you need to notify me at [email protected] that you sent your money and the amount/date. The etransfers will have to be sent on or shortly before each of the 4 payment dates listed above.
Payment needs to be received by September 12th
Each instalment is non-refundable once you reach each date, if Covid happens to end the season early.
-Don't forget to complete and return the Rowan's Law form prior to the start of hockey.
-Our NMHA Covid team is busy planning for our return to hockey, more information is to come about new protocols and safety measures that will be in place this hockey season. We thank everyone for their co-operation and patience while we are trying to plan for our safe start to hockey. As more details become available we will share it with everyone.
