Busy Week for Norwich Knighthawks Titan Sales Pee Wee Boys


October 22nd the Knighthawks were away, taking on the Caledonia Thunder.  Although the boys played hard they suffered an 8-1 loss.  Lincoln Swerdfeger had the only Knighthawks goal with assists from Max VanVliet and Carson McKie.

October 25th the Knighthawks played home to the Six Nations Blackhawks.  The Knighthawks dominated with a 5-4 win.  Lincoln Swerdfeger lead the scoring with a hattrick, assisted by Max Vanvliet, Carson McKie and Ryan Doan.  Max Vanvliet and Quinn D’Ignazio also had goals, with assists by Lincoln Swerdferger, Kye Farkas and Holden Durham.  Smart goaltending by Logan McLellan.   Way to go Knighthawks!

The weekend brought the first tournament of the year for the Knighthawks where they played hard in Shallow Lake.

The first game of the tournament the boys came out strong with a 4-2 win over the St. George Generals.  In the first period Lincoln Swerdfeger scored the first goal with assists by Carter Cassells and Max VanVliet.  Also in the first period Max VanVliet had a nice goal with assists by Lincoln Swerdfeger and Carter Cassells.  In the third period the remaining two goals were scored by Brady Dorland, with assists by Grady Ryksen and Ryan Doan and Kye Farkas.  Logan McLellan was in net and played a great game.

The second game of the tournament was a 8-3 loss to the West Lorne Comets. Lincoln swerdfeger had 2 goals and Ryan Doan added a short handed goal. Assists go to Carson Mckie and Holden Durham.

The third and final game of the tournament on Sunday October 28th The Knighthawks lost 6-2 to the Dunnville Mudcats.    Lincoln Swerdfeger scored in the first period assisted by Max VanVliet, and in the third period Max VanVliet scored the teams final goal with an assist by Lincoln Swerdfeger.   Logan McLellan worked hard in net.  Although the Knighthawks did not move on to the finals, they played hard all weekend on and off the ice, and had a blast!

On Monday October 29th, the Knighthawks were back at it again where they dominated in Burford with a 3-2 win over the Burford Coyotes.  Grady Ryksen scored the first Norwich goal in the first period, with assists by Max VanVliet and Lincoln Swerdfeger.  The remaining goals that gave the Knighthawks the win were scored in the third period by Lincoln Swerdfeger with assists by Carson McKie and Brady Dorland; and Grady Ryksen with his second goal of the game assisted by Kye Farkas.  Logan McLellan did an outstanding job in net.  Way to go Knighthawks.
