The Boys have done it
again, with a three game sweep of the Drayton Defenders the Knighthawks move on
to the OMHA finals and will face either the Douro Dukes or the Flesherton
Goldenhawks.
The Oxford Pallet Bantam Reps won the first game at home last Sunday 3-1 then traveled to Drayton on Friday night and took that game 6-0 and wrapped it up on Sunday with a 5-3 win. The team played well this series and have their eye’s set firmly on the final’s, where their opponents will be tough competition. The Knighthawks also have had 2 southern counties games this week, first beating Simcoe and then beating Twin Centers to remain a top of the “A” division. The Oxford Pallet Bantam Reps are on a roll, the team spirit is amazing, they play 100% as a team, it’s truly great to watch these young men play hockey. They will have a rest waiting for the finals to start, but the coaching staff will have the boys skating and practicing hard!
In the meantime two other great Norwich teams are in the semifinals of OMHA. Come out and cheer on the Novice and Midget REP’s in their games, it would be awesome to have three Knighthawk teams in the OMHA finals!!
