Week one of the
season saw an undefeated Oxford Pallet Bantam Rep team come up against Paris
for their first home game.
The boys came out strong and played two strong periods, scoring quickly and controlling the play. The Knighthawks ended up with a 6-3 win, a great way to start the season. On Thursday the Boys traveled to Ingersoll to play the Express, it was a close game and with the Knighthawks leading 3-1 late in the third, the Express pulled their goalie and brought the game to within one. Luckily the Oxford Pallet Bantam reps were able to hold on and win 3-2. Feeling great about the win over Paris and Ingersoll the Boys set their sights on the Port Dover Pirates. Unfortunately it wasn’t the best outing for the Bantam Reps and they ended up with a 5-4 loss. The Oxford Pallet Bantam Reps now face a tough Simcoe team next Tuesday October 17th, this should be a great game as both teams are strong, let’s hope the Knighthawks play a full three periods and get back to winning.
